Berlin based Indian architect Anupama Kundoo stands out for the research in materials and development of building techniques with a low environmental impact.
In this exhibition, Anupama explains the importance of interpersonal cooperation between the different agents involved in the process of working to achieve spaces with human purpose, refuge and social engagement. She exposes to show herself not only as an architect but also as a researcher, an urban planner, a professor and a volunteer.
Visually speaking, the concept of co-creation is abstractly represented through the overlapping of a series of circumferences disposed on a grid and the resulting shapes of these interactions. The recurring use of terracotta, circular windows and holes that enable air to flow between interiors and exteriors in her construction are the key elements which motivate the choice for colours and shapes in the graphics.
